Welcoming 2022 & Reflecting 2021
Born in the depth of the Naarm Lockdowns in 2020, Vibe Union has proven itself to be a name in the music and events industry. This launch of our very own website, along with a dedicated Blog section featuring a range of articles and artists, signifies the great gains made as a whole within such a short period of time.
Vibe Union is an artist collective with one goal: to broaden the landscape of the local artist community. Producing, releasing, and performing a variety of content, a podcast, and a series of inimitable live events has allowed Vibe Union to make its mark in becoming a diverse and accessible community of creators living in Victoria. We pride ourselves on being open to all vibes and walks of life and are committed to providing spaces for artists to meet, share, and collaborate.
It is incredibly exciting to start this new year off with such a big launch and opening of this new space; one that we will continue to give to the local artist and music communities to share their words, experiences, and creativity with us. Vibe Union has always held the values and motivation to bring together musicians and creatives from a range of locations and forms to create music, content and entertainment that engages and inspires. We make a large range of content that ranges from music to language arts and include a wonderfully diverse community of multidisciplinary artists that continue to inspire one another, and especially those who have been working behind the scenes. We would not be here celebrating this new chapter, and new website, without the continued support of those who have been a part of this journey.
From the initial meetings which formed into the collective Vibe Union is today, we are incredibly proud to have released the album that brought the initial group together to create, vibe, and collaborate on their shared passion and drive to create music.
It’s hard to truly comprehend the year just passed and how many achievements this collective has had - with a total of 67 events, 22 of those being live streams through lockdown, to 38 podcast episodes, it’s been an incredible year of community growth and connectivity for all creatives involved.
Just in one year of running events, we have hosted a series of showcase & open mic events, including over 390 performances from a huge number of performers in the local arts and music scene.
As a collective, Vibe Union has maintained the goal of being incredibly inclusive and an open source for all to access. Our focus is on bringing interesting and emerging artists into the scene by providing opportunities and spaces to create and grow together. We are one big community at the end of the day.
