We’re so proud of what we’ve built here in the past year. Though crazy times, lockdowns, uncertainty but we just kept going. Switching to live streams to keep things moving & then coming back to Blue Bar stronger than ever. We love our poetry community and we’re so excited for the next year of spoken word!

Smooth talkers, slick walkers, gather round for a night of linguistic subtlety and sultry word play. Blue bar in collaboration with vibe union presents: Talking Blue; with the guidance of Vibe Union, we'll be talking a journey through words and experiences. Whether you’re an MC, poet, spoken word enthusiast, put words to the page but never performed, this stage is for you. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged!

Each performer gets 5 mins (roughly).
This event is taking place on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation. Sovereignty was never ceded and we extend our respects to Indigenous elders past, present, and emerging.
