The Dusty Sessions

  • Bar 303 303 High Street Northcote, VIC, 3070 Australia (map)

Dusty Sessions is all about bringing blues, folk and soul music together for an intimate evening of self-expression.

Welcome to Dusty Sessions Volume 5!

We are extremely excited to be back at Bar 303 in Northcote, on our favorite fairy-light strewn stage, with another stellar line-up of Melbourne talent. Dusty Sessions is all about bringing blues, folk and soul music together for an intimate evening of self-expression.

We acknowledge that this event will be taking place on stolen land, and pay respects to the traditional custodians; the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. Sovereignty was never ceded, and we still have a long way to go to make equality our reality. Part of every ticket sold to this event will be donated to the Pay The Rent organisation in Victoria, that runs community projects and offers aid to first nations people.

Caisha Sprout

Upbeat, funky, and soulful Caisha Sprout brings an infectious positivity and playfulness to her listeners. Encouraging us to love ourselves and each other with her music, and with a beautiful warmth to her voice, you’ll be smiling and grooving along with every song!

Honey Blue

It’s impossible not to feel immediately relaxed once you hear Honey Blue’s sweet and sultry voice over the top of smooth R&B and jazz-inspired tracks. No stranger to the stage, or to Melbourne’s Jazz scene, Honey Blue has played with a huge range of local talent as well as making her own name heard with new releases and headliner shows!

Chev Person

Having been a part of many different projects around Melbourne, Chev’s latest embodiment is a deeply personal and introspective look at self-image, love, and taking care of yourself. With a mix of folk, pop, and soul influences Chev brings an intimacy to her performances that will leave you feeling like you’ve been on a soul-searching journey.
